CIM Advertising Agency of the Year -2018
FD Communications was honored, for a third year running, to be recognized as the best advertising agency of the year 2018 at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Marketer’s Excellence Awards gala held on 30th November at Crossroads Hotel in Blantyre.
The awards saw three of our clients scooping multiple awards as well as our in-house designers, bringing the number of awards associated with us to six. Our client in the banking sector,
Standard Bank was recognized for Public Relations Project of the Year for its 24/7 Moments Campaign Similarly, the telecommunications giants, Telekom Networks Malawi won the Commercial of the Year in the Print Category with TNM@Home. TNM plc. also claimed the Commercial of the Year for Outdoor for its Timatere campaign..
A treble for the telecommunications giant, Brand Malawi Initiative courtesy of its Mount Mulanje Porters Race and Lake of Stars Sponsorship with the goal to drive tourism. In the Life Changing Brand of the Year, Japan Tobacco International (JTI) outclassed other submitted entries with its Conversion of Ash into Concrete Blocks initiative.
To sum it all, TNM Marketing manager Sobhuza Ngwenya was decorated with the Marketer of the Year for spearheading TMN’s Marketing Programs, eventually leading the company to three awards!
Accolade for the Creative/Graphic Artist of the Year went to FD’s Simon Banda as per his submitted portfolio. The CIM recognition FD Communications for the Advertising Agency of the Year for mounting campaigns for TNM, Standard Bank and JTI.
This is the third time for FD Communications to win the Advertising Agency of the Year award for three times in a roll, defending the accolade from 2016.
